When Should You Wear Brown Dress Shoes?

Find Brown Dress Shoes at http://www.mrangelshoes.comWhen it comes to answering this question, you could go by the old saying - "No Brown after 6pm" But I don't necessarily think that this is 100% correct as I think that you can pull off wearing Brown Dress Shoes after 6pm. Of course, there are some events that you should NOT wear brown shoes to.....for example - to formal events like the Opera or a wedding....etc
There are 3 factors to think of when deciding whether you can wear Brown Dress Shoes or not.

Factor 1: The Occasion......How formal is the event?
Usually, I would say to stick to the darker colours but you can get away with wearing Brown Dress Shoes in the evening if they are of a darker shade of brown and if the suit you are wearing is navy blue in colour.

Find Brown DRess Shoes at http://www.mrangelshoes.comFactor 2: The time of the day
Usually I would only recommend that you wear Brown Dress Shoes during the day as you would usually wear lighter colours during the day and darker colours during the night.

Factor 3: The time of the year
Is it Summer? Is it Winter? During the warmer times of the year, you will tend to wear lighter colours and during the Colder months, you tend to wear darker colours.....which makes the warmer months the perfect time to wear your brown shoes.

So taking into account these three factors, there are certain times that you could pull off lighter coloured or Brown Dress Shoes. For example, if you are going to a formal event during the Summer months that starts at 5pm and through to the night and what you happen to be wearing is a lighter coloured suit like say a tan coloured linen suit, then you could definitely wear Brown Dress Shoes. But if the event is a Black tie event, then I recommend you stick to the dark shades of shoes with your suit.

Why do I differ in shoe size between brands and styles?

I have noticed this myself when selling shoes in my own business.
Someone would come in and try on a few shoes to purchase. They would try on one style of Dress Shoes in say a size 43 and then try on a different style of Dress Shoe in the same size and find that it is either to tight and too big. I am going to briefly explain why this happens so that you are aware of the reason for this happening.

It is not an inconsistency in sizing! This usually happens because of the design and type of toe that has been incorporated into the design of the shoe. The longer and pointier the toe, the narrower the shoe will be. Generally if you have wide feet, then you will need to go up a size to accommodate for the wilderness of your feet. The rounder and shorter the toe is, the wider the shoe will be at the widest point.

It also differ between the style of shoe as well. Sports shoes (like runners, sneakers, etc) and Dress Shoes will also differ in sizing as they are constructed to accommodate your foot in totally different ways.

So as you can see, it's not that there is an inconsistency with shoe sizing in the Men's shoe industry, it's all dependant on the type and style of shoes that you try on and buy.

If you are looking for men's dress shoes that are different to everything else out there and would like Dress Shoes that stand out from the crowd, then have a look at what MR Angel Shoes have to offer. Visit http://www.mrangelshoes.com to see there full range of Men's Dress Shoes.

Which Dress Shoes Do I Wear For Which Occasion?

With life being so busy in this modern world, we are often attending events and occasions of many kinds. Do you ever have trouble with picking the right pair of Dress Shoes to go with what you are wearing? I am going to try and untangle this web of confusion and provide some helpful facts and tips for choosing the right Dress Shoes for the the different kinds of events and occasions.

Casual Get Together with Friends

Beautiful Pair of shoes that will match well with Jeans
Let's begin with understanding what it is that you will be wearing. Most probably a nice clean pair of Jeans and a shirt with/or without a jacket of some suit (like a leather jacket or casual dress blazer). Now that we have a rough idea of what you will be wearing, we can get to the business of choosing and matching the right pair of Dress Shoes to your outfit.
With casual get togethers, you don't want to wear shoes that look too formal but then again, you don't want to be wearing runners or sneakers either. You need to find a pair of Dress Shoes that meet in the middle. Maybe play around with the colour of the leather, the different toe styles and find shoes that you feel you will be able to get the most out off - that you know you will be able to wear a lot.

Formal Events (Such as weddings, work related events, etc....)

Stunning Dress Shoes with a bit of spark and
personality in the design that will match very well with a suit or tuxedo
Again, we will begin with what you will be wearing - A suit with a shirt and maybe a tie or bow tie (depending on how formal the event is). When in a more formal situation, you want to steer clear of Dress Shoes that are you can wear for more casual situations (in other words, shoes that you can wear with jeans and a t shirt!!!).
When choosing Formal Dress Shoes, you need to look at a few things, namely the toe shape, the length of the toe and also the style of the design. Shoes for formal occasions should be just that....shoes that you will only wear for formal occasions.

In reality, Choosing the right pair of Dress Shoes for you isn't rocket science.  If you just ask yourself these questions when you are looking at buying Dress Shoes, then you should be able to determine for yourself whether they are the right pair of Shoes for you and the event you are attending.

  1. Where do you intend to wear this shoes?
  2. What will you wear with these shoes?
  3. Does this shoe marry with your personality and sense of style?
  4. Will you wear this shoe all the time?
If you like the shoes featured in this blog post, you will find them and more unique styles at MR Angel Shoes.

Matching Your Dress Shoes With Your Jeans

Quite often I get asked this question – “How do I know that these Dress Shoes will match all of my jeans? We all know that jeans come in all different colours, styles and cuts……which make this question a very viable question to ask. I am going to try and show you what style of Men’s Dress Shoes go best for each of the different cuts of jeans that you may have in your wardrobe.

The Boot Cut
The Boot Cut
This is a very classic cut that I am sure every man in this world has a least one pair of this style of jeans in their wardrobe. This cut is a very versatile cut that will go with almost every style of shoes available for men. This cut was originally designed to be worn with boots and you will see that at the bottom of the leg in this style, it tapers out ever so slightly to allow room for boots to be worn underneath the jeans. You can wear any style with this jean cut – pointy toed, round toed, square toed, boots, casual Dress Shoes….the list is endless.

The Straight Cut
The Straight Cut

Another classic cut in the world of jeans. This cut is similar to the boot cut and can be worn with any style of dress shoe. The only difference is that it doesn't taper out at the bottom of the leg which could make it a bit more difficult to wear boots with this cut. Beside this, it is another versatile style of denim that you can wear almost any style of Dress Shoe available on the market.

The Skinny Jean
The Skinny Jean

A style of jeans that has more recently become popular in the world of Men’s Fashion – mainly among Generations X & Y. Personally, I am not the biggest fan of this cut of jeans but this style is perfect if you are on the shorter side (stature-wise).In this case, I recommend that you wear the skinny jean with pointy toed or the longer toed Dress Shoes as it elongates your leg and makes you appear taller. This style of Jeans doesn't appeal to the taller person so much as it make them appear taller and accentuates this and makes them look too tall and lanky.

Chinos
Chinos

A more casual cut that you can wear with any type of shoes - sneakers or canvas shoes as well as dressing them up with the wide range of Dress Shoes available out there. I have a few pairs of this style in my own wardrobe because I love the versatility of them. I recommend wearing these pants with Pointy toed Dress Shoes as it also elongates your leg (like the Skinny Jeans). However this cut isn't meant to be worn tight like the skinny jean.

There is no exact science to matching your Dress Shoes to your jeans and clothing. In the end, it all comes down to you personality, sense of Style and ultimately what you are comfortable wearing.

Guide for buying Men's Formal Shoes - Styling tips for Men's Formal Shoes

If you are planning to wear a wonderful pair of brown formal shoes, you need to keep in mind that the rest of your outfit components will highly match this pair. In this regard, you have to make sure that the clothing and the accessories will complement each other. Otherwise, you run the risk of the look falling apart and appearing really disorganized. To help you address the problem when dressing up for a formal occasion, a brown pair of shoes and a versatile suit can help do wonders for you. There are numerous ideas that you may capitalize on when picking men’s shoes, or any designer shoes for that matter.

Dark Shades

According to experts, darker shades imply more serious dispositions for the people who wear clothes with these hues. In the same light, you may want to wear a brown pair of formal shoes if you are planning to attend less formal occasions.

Shoe Laces

Another similar point of consideration is the presence of shoe laces. Generally, shoes with laces are considered dressy compared to the loafers and the slip-ons.

Pairing Up

Perhaps, an important rule that you have to consider in picking out the brown formal shoes is to refrain from wearing a black suit with it. If you think a pair with a really dark brown shade can pass for black ones, you need to reconsider your get up. According to the experts, this pair with look their best if you combine them with suits of beige or tan hues. Some suits with navy undertones can also do the trick for you. While pairing the shoes with a brown suit may work, you are advised to choose other suitable shades.

These are just some of the considerations that you have to make in choosing the right pair of shoes for the occasion. You may also mix and match your outfits so you can personalize your overall look.

What Do Your Shoes Say About You?

I agree with the saying "You can tell the character of the man by the shoes that he is wearing!"
If you are the laid back kind of guy.....then you would be probably wearing thongs with boardies and a t-shirt! I'm right ain't I! Fitness finads will be wearing their runners pretty much 24/7 and professionals.....you can guarantee that they will be wearing their business dress shoes all the time!

Which brings me to my main question.....what do your shoes say about you?

Well I can only speak for myself when it comes to answering this question. I have to say that my shoes are an extension of myself. They tell of my personality, my sense of style and of my professionalism. I wear shoes that are versatile....meaning I can wear them for both business as well as pleasure. I also like to buy shoes that have individuality and uniqueness in the design.

Below are some pictures of the latest pairs of shoes to grace their presence in my own collection. You can see for yourself my personality and the kind of man I am by looking at these few pairs of shoes from my own shoe collection. Judge the man that is me for yourself!

I bought all of the above shoes from an amazing and upcoming shoe label in Australia - MR Angel Shoes. If you like these shoes, you can go check them out as well as their full range at their website http://www.mrangelshoes.com
